Summer is here and it’s time to plan your much needed vacation get away. There are so many beautiful places and fun adventures waiting for you right here in the state of Georgia! A major benefit of living in middle Georgia is that all of these locations are just a few hours away which makes for less travel time and more fun!

Savannah– Savannah, Georgia is a beautiful city full of rich history. Enjoy your days strolling along the cobblestone streets visiting shops and restaurants, touring the magnificent southern mansions, or seeing the city on a trolley ride.

Tybee Island– Once you’ve explored Savannah, hop over to Tybee Island to spend a relaxing day at the beach. Only twenty minutes outside of the city, this is the perfect spot for a day trip!

Blue Ridge– Enjoy the cooler weather and beautiful scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Georgia. Ride the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway for a look at the nature surrounding the mountain town.

Callaway Botanical Gardens– There is no shortage of things to do at Callaway Botanical Gardens. Enjoy the natural scenery of the gardens on biking trails, visit Robin Lake Beach, view over 1,000 butterflies at Cecil B. Day Butterfly Center, or explore on the TreeTop Adventure Zip Line and Obstacle Course.

Atlanta– Experience the vibrant city life of Atlanta. There are so many things to see such as the World of Coke, Georgia Aquarium, Six Flags over Georgia, and High Museum of Art. If you’ve got the chance, make sure to catch a baseball game at SunTrust Park!

April Events

The flowers are blooming and the days are longer, which means spring is officially here! Below, we have rounded up a list of some April’s most anticipated events going on right here in Dublin, GA.

  1. First Friday- Grab your lawn chairs and head to Market on Madison on Friday, April 5th to hear Kori & The High Voltage Band! The concert will begin at 7:30pm but make sure to get there early to grab your spot. All friends, families, and pets are welcome.
  2. Ristorante da Maria Feast- Enjoy a five course feast of Italian dishes at Dublin Farm. Full menu and reservations can be viewed at

  3. Downtown Dublin Farmer’s Market- Saturday, April 6th, kick off the 2019 weekly farmers market located at the Market on Madison. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and handcrafted goods will be available for purchase. The market will be held from 7:30am-12:30pm.
  4. Easter Egg Drop- The ultimate Easter egg hunt is done right here in Dublin! Watch as over 25,000 candy-filled eggs are dropped from a helicopter over Southern Pines Regional Park. The Easter egg hunt will begin on Saturday, April 13th at 10:00am. Make sure to get there early for registration beginning at 9:00am.

Please join us for an open house this Thursday, March 21st at 103 Village Drive! This Craftsman style 4 bedroom/ 3 bathroom home features an open floor plan with nine foot ceilings, granite counter tops, and a screened in back porch. St. Patrick’s SUPER Saturday in Dublin, GA

St. Patrick’s Day weekend is one of the year’s most anticipated weekends in Dublin, GA. Events will be held throughout Dublin on Saturday, March 16th beginning at 8:00 am. Make sure to grab your green and check out these seven ways to have a spectacular Super Saturday in Dublin, GA:

  1. Leprechaun Road Race: Begin your Super Saturday with a little exercise and a whole lot of fun at the 43rd annual Leprechaun Road Race. The last day for registration is Thursday, March 14th.   2. St. Patrick’s Arts and Crafts Festival: Enjoy the live music, taste sweet treat from food vendors, and browse beautiful handmade crafts in Downtown Dublin’s Market on Madison. Kids will enjoy bouncy houses, slides, and a petting zoo. There is truly something for everyone at the St. Patrick’s Arts and Crafts Festival!
  3. Dublin St. Patrick’s Parade: After you run in the Leprechaun Road Race, take a seat in downtown Dublin to watch the parade. Make sure to get your seat early! The parade begins at 10:30 am, but Jackson Street and Bellevue Avenue will be filled with a sea of green early.
  4. ShamROCK: Rock the night away in Stubbs Park with live performances between 4 pm and 9 pm. While you’re there, grab some dinner at Munchies in the Park! There will be good music and good food, what more do you need?
